 Abstract:Repairing damaged parts through reverse engineering is an important means to achieve remanufacturing In this paper, we study the problem of reconstruction accuracy and efficiency of defective parts in the remanufacturing of damaged parts The adaptive octree method is used to segment the point cloud model, and its normal vector is estimated and adjusted The point cloud model can be quickly extracted and the damaged feature points can be repaired In order to improve the speed of the surface reconstruction, using the method of surface reconstruction based on regional growth, the evaluation criteria are established by triangular evaluation function The hierarchical model is stratified by using the method of equal thickness slicing, so that the crosssectional profile more accurately represent the original model The experimental results show that the proposed method can greatly improve the accuracy and efficiency of the repair of the defect parts and provided technical support for the repair of the parts of the manufacturing enterprises
