Abstract:
Unfolding wheel is a crucial component of steel ball detecting mechanism,whose driving surfaceproperty is important for detection accuracy. Aiming at the problem that driving surface extended service affects thesteel ball precision for lack of prediction method of driving surface wear,based on Archard model,the wear modelof driving surface is established through theoretical derivation with fully considering the influence of the driving loadand sliding speed. The wear life numerical simulation of a driving surface is carried out according to the actualworking condition. The simulation results show that on the condition of low speed and small size ball,the drivingsurface has a longer life expectancy,and this research provides a new method for the driving surface wear life prediction.
