Abstract:
To solve the problem of graphene aggregate in the aluminum matrix,the method of charge attractWa,s adopted. The graphene OX1de}A1 COmpOSlte pOW(lers Were fabrlCated by graphene OXlde Wlth negatlVe Chargeprepared by the Ilnmmers method arid the aluminum pOW(ler Wlth pOS1t1Ve Charge. Flnally Was prepared graphenerelnfOT’Ced alumlnum matrlX COmpOSltes by pOW(ler metallurgy. The meChanlCal prOpertles arid m1CT’OStruCture Werestudied using scanning electron microscope(SEM ),X-ray diffraction and Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy
(FT-IR) and material testing machine. Experimental results shows graphene homogenously dispersed in the aluminum matrix. Compare with pure Al,adding only 0. 50 wt% graphene,the Vickers hardness and tensile strengthwere increased by nearly 19.7% and 20% respectively.
