Abstract:
Abstract: In order to improve regenerative braking energy recovery rate of electric vehicle ( EV) ,the fuzzy
logic control strategy is adopted in this paper. The Mamdani fuzzy controller is set up,which determines the propor-
tion distribution between regenerative braking force and mechanical braking force. Meanwhile,considering the se-
curity and stability of braking,the braking force between front and rear wheels is distributed according to the opti-
mum braking force distribution curve. The model based on fuzzy logic control strategy is established under Matlab /
Simulink environment and embedded into simulation software ADVISOR,simulation experiments are carried out
with typical driving cycle. The simulation results show that,with fuzzy logic control strategy,the battery' s SOC rises
by around 9. 3%,the overall vehicle system efficiency rises by 7. 2% and the regenerative braking efficiency rises
by 36. 7%, which indicates that the fuzzy logic control strategy can realize energy recovery better and prolong the
endurance mileage of EV.
